  • Courtney Legge, PsyD

    Dr. Legge is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Colorado. After completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, she obtained a Master of Arts (MA) and a Doctoral Degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Legge completed her predoctoral internship in Primary Care Behavioral Health at the Community of Health of Central Washington in Yakima, Washington and her postdoctoral training at Denver Health & Hospital Authority in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Legge has worked at the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry. She has focused the first stage of her career on increasing access to behavioral health services in medical settings. Most recently, she implemented a new integrated behavioral health program into specialty outpatient neurology clinics. 

    Dr. Legge is dedicated to understanding the relationship between mental and physical health within an individual’s unique context. She has worked in a variety of medical settings developing expertise in integrated primary and specialty care. Dr. Legge’s recent clinical experiences include neurological conditions, chronic medical conditions, chronic pain, and older adult health issues. She applies behavioral and contextual approaches to therapy including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Dr. Legge has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). 

    Dr. Legge is passionate about the mind-body connection and the role of stress in overall health. She has also particularly enjoyed working with healthcare professionals and medical providers. 

    Dr. Legge fosters a collaborative and compassionate environment to develop new tools, insights, hope, and resiliency.
